About Me
Be the change that you wish to see in the world. ~Mahatma Gandhi

About Robin Joy…
I am a nurturer by nature. Joy is not just inherent in my name~ it is part of my personality. Being joyful, like happiness, is a conscious choice that I choose everyday.
Connecting with Spirit and knowing that something bigger than ourselves is guiding each of us on our own personal journey is, for me, like taking in oxygen when I breathe. Trusting that my Higher Self is with me every step of the way feels supportive and gives me inner peace as I navigate through the highs and lows of everyday life.
My journey…
The Body
My journey is an eclectic one where each of my curiosities lead me to lots of twists and turns. When I was about three years old, my father would have my sister and I walk on his back and massage his feet. Little did I realize then that the beginning of my healing career had begun.
Even still, I was clueless in college when my friends would line up for a stress releasing neck and back rub during finals week. As a communications major with a business minor, I was corporate America bound and I had not considered a career in massage therapy as a viable option.
Yet after college, I listened to my heart and spirit and followed the path of healing and massage~ first at a lymphedema clinic In NYC and then in private practice.
Since 1989, I have taken countless workshops to keep up with the latest modalities and to fine tune my craft. Hot stones, Deep Tissue Fascia Release, Foot Reflexology, Prenatal Massage, Essential Oils, Vibrational Sound Healing, and Marconic Energy are just some of the tools in my toolbox.
My extensive hands-on training combined with my own inner guidance, assists my clients to make Quantum shifts of their perceived realities. As has always been my goal, my intention at each healing session is to create balance within my clients energy field. It is at this zero state that deeper healing can be experienced.

The Home
But something else was striking my interest~ the home. I graduated from interior design school and my secondary career seriously started soon after Super Storm Sandy hit my hometown and surrounding areas in 2012. People were finding a serious need to redesign their spaces and I was a necessity. Since then, My scope of work has expanded to provide all phases of Interior Design for your home or office.
As a “feeler” and an energy practitioner who works with both the ethereal and physical forms of dis-ease, I started noticing energy patterns in my massage clients that were being mirrored in their homes. Anxiety and depression in the body was showing up as clutter and disorganization in the home. Or conversely, scarcity or lack luster felt like low self-esteem.
Feng Shui
Feng Shui seemed like the perfect next step in my journey and was now my new found passion. Through the artful placement of furniture and objects, use of the Bagua, color theory, and the five natural elements, Feng Shui helps balance the natural flow of energy in your space which in turn affects your mind/body/spirit connection.
